EVENING SHOWCASE: Synergies
A large-scale video installation by Edyta Stepien and Chuck Przybyl wraps the entirety of Chicago Art Dept east gallery while experimental short films by local artists run in the west gallery. Produced by CIMMfest.

Young Chicago Authors Showcase
A performance by members of Young Chicago Authors (YCA), an organization cultivating artistic voice, developing critical thinkers and empowering youth to be civically engaged through programs like Louder Than a Bomb, the largest youth poetry festival in the world.

SS2: Post-Butoh Festival Showcase
Eight contemporary Butoh artists from around Chicago, the country and the world use this post-war Japanese art form as a jumping off point for innovation, revealing the mystery of the live moment through contemporary dance. Performers include Vangeline Theater, Sara Zalek, Darrell Jones and Alessandro Pintus.

Cedille Records Celebrates 25 Years of Recording Chicago’s Classical Musicians
Cedille Records presents a concert in honor of its 25th anniversary showcasing four performances – the Avalon String Quartet, Gaudete Brass, Fifth House Ensemble and INTERSECTION: Jazz Meets Classical Song featuring Patrice Michaels – that represent Chicago’s vibrant contemporary classical music community.
